Mrs. Sandra L. Mielcarek "Doll"

Lorain- Sandra "Doll" Mielcarek (nee: Wymer), 72, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain with her loving husband and dear friends at her side.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Robert C. and Betty J. (nee: Butler) Wymer.

Sandy graduated from Clearview High School, Class of 1961. She worked as a sales clerk at F.W. Woolworth for 37 years. She married Richard "Count" Mielcarek on June 28, 1980. Sandy later worked for 9 years at Pat Catan's in Lorain. She was a member of Nativity BVM Parish in Lorain and the United Polish Club in Elyria. Sandy enjoyed gardening around her home and casino trips. 

She is survived by her husband of 36 years of marriage, Richard "Count" Mielcarek of Lorain; brother, Gary (Barbara) Wymer of Virginia; sister, Barbara Jordan of Las Vegas; and loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00PM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Nativity BVM Parish, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain, Fr. Robert J. Glepko, Pastor, officiating.
