Cleveland-
Mary "Chris" Jimes, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October
29, 2015 at her home in Cleveland, OH.
She
was born in Lakewood, OH on December 15, 1958 to her loving parents, Douglas Woodrow
and Mary Elizabeth (nee: Mobilian) Fagan. Chris was raised in Sheffield Lake,
OH and attended Brookside High School. She had a passion for cooking especially
for her family and friends. Chris loved all animals and she enjoyed the
outdoors, fishing and camping.
She
is survived by her daughter, Beth (Kathy) Pranckunas of Lorain; son, Matthew
(Melissa) Long of Vermilion; brother, Doug Fagan of Cleveland, OH; sister,
Sandra McNally of Lakewood, OH; granddaughter, Brayleigh Long; niece, Dawn;
nephews, Shannon and William; and many loving friends.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husbands, Dennis Coury in
2003 and Donald Jimes in 2009; and son, Gregory Douglas Long in 2013.
The
family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from
5:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 PM. Memorial donations
may be made in the name of a local animal rescue organization of the donor's
choice in Chris' memory and sent to the funeral home address at C/O, Chris
Jimes Family, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052. Online condolences may be sent
