Chick was a great guy. I have known him since I was a little boy going to Am-vets with my Mother. Later on I obtained a job at B.F. Goodrich in Avon Lake where he gave me some good advice on how to handle shift work. My mother thought the world of your Dad. It was always a pleasure seeing him. He had a great sense of humor and made this world a better place to live. I hope that he didn't suffer as he lived his final years. Mom passed in 2011. I remember how my Mom's eyes would light up when he walked in the room and how proud they were of their Irish Heritage. Your dad was a great man and he will truly be missed. Your dad was great about acknowledging you, a friendly greeting at work or in the grocery store. He had a way of making you feel important, not everybody has that gift. May god help you through these difficult times and remember how blessed you were to have him as your Dad.
