Mrs. Luisa Burgos

Lorain- Luisa Burgos (nee: Quinones), 79, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH.

                                               

Luisa was born in Puerto Rico on February 1, 1932 to her parents, Bartolo and Mercedes (nee:Bauza) Quinones.

 

Luisa is survived by her children, Hector (Gladys) Burgos, Maria (Ralph) Mendoza, Wilfredo (Anna) Burgos, Luisa Burgos, Peter (Betsy) Burgos and Janet Gioffre; sisters, Ana and Luz Quinones; brothers, Ruben, Alben and Pete Quinones; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

 

Luisa is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro G. Burgos.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Monday, September 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain, OH, Fr. William Thaden, Pastor, officiating. Christian burial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, OH (Meet at funeral home Tuesday at 10 AM). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Chapel. Funeral arrangements and services by Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH (440) 244-1961.
