Mrs. Phyllis "Jean" Wisenbaler

Lorain- Phyllis Jean Wisenbaler, 79, passed away on May 17, 2011.  Jean was born on July 2, 1931 in Fairmont, WV. 

She was a resident of Lorain for over 30 years.  Jean was a homemaker and loved traveling, especially her monthly bus trips.  She was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed completing crossword puzzles.  Jean loved being around her friends and family.

She is survived by one sister, Charlene Forguer of West Virginia.  She spent most of her time with her niece, Shannon Herron whom she referred to as her daughter and her husband, Dallas; nephews, Bryan Wisenbaler (fiancée Brittany) and Dustin Wisenbaler (fiancée Megan); brother-in-law, William Wisenbaler; sister-in-law, Tammy Wisenbaler; several nieces and nephews including Cathy Furr, Jackie Reynolds, Michael Carney and Jimmy Carney; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Carney of Fairmont WV; her brother, Robert Carney of Elyria, OH; and her beloved husband, Russell Wisenbaler of over 40 years. She is missed by many and loved by more.  She will always be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH (440) 244-1961 on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 1-3 and 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH. Online condolences may be sent using www.rsgfuneralhome.com.

Shannon and family, Aunt Jeanie was a wonderful person. You were so blessed to have her in your life. she was always so sweet and kind hearted. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Love, Renee, Greg and Mrs. T
