Mrs. Marjorie Reagan

Marjorie Reagan passed away on Tuesday, September 04, 2012.  She was a lifelong resident of Lorain, born July 16, 1924 to William and Frances Gable (nee Mullin). Mrs. Reagan was a graduate of St. Mary Academy and a graduate of Siena Heights University where she was a member of the Third Order of St. Dominic. She raised five sons, was active in the church of her youth, St. Mary and then St. Anthony of Padua. She enjoyed flowers and flower arranging and for many years arranged the flowers at the St. Anthony Adoration Chapel. Mrs. Reagan travelled to Ireland several times on family trips and also travelled to Italy and the Vatican. She enjoyed travelling with family to the University of Notre Dame to attend football games, graduations and other functions. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reagan was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Reagan (co-owner of the Reagan Food and Marine Supply, suppliers to the Great Lakes shipping fleet) and her sister Frances A. Chesnut (nee Gable).  She is survived by her five sons and their families: James F. Reagan of Lorain; William C. (Elizabeth) Reagan of Granger, Indiana; Daniel G. (Margot) Reagan of South Bend, Indiana; Christopher G. (Ellen) Reagan of Deerfield, Illinois; and Shawn S. (Karen) Reagan of Edinboro, Pennsylvania; Grandchildren, Courtney Reagan Crawford (William), Kevin and Patrick Reagan; Brigid Reagan Balcom (Benjamin), Colman Patrick, Mary Kathleen, Anne Colleen, and James Brendan Reagan; Maighdlin Mary and Maura Cristin Reagan; Daniel Sheehan, Kelsey Marie, Samuel James, and Ryan Dunn Reagan; Great Grandchildren: Millicent and Maeve Crawford and Henry Eamon Balcom.  Visitation for friends and family will be from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon in church prior to the funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 East Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio officiated by Fr. Daniel O. Divis and with Fr. Richard Hudak concelebrating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Anthony Adoration Chapel or Hospice of the Western Reserve.  Arrangements are being handled by Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
